1280 Jockey

Jockey - Fleur outfit 1280 - is the 4th horse-riding fashion Fleur ever had (there was also outfit 1205, outfit 1267, and Amazone Fleur doll). This one is a bright set of nylon jacket with green front, red sleeves, and two red stripes across the chest, worn with white riding pants. Note the 'Jockey' label on the front of the box.

Accessories: black riding crop, pink sunglasses, green-red hat

Shoes: red knee-high boots

1281 Green Top

In the 1986 booklet, Fleur outfit 1281 was given the name 'Green Top'. It's a great set of a sleeveless green top and full knee-length skirt, worn with a front-tie loose shirt in a multitude of patterns. The green fabric can be smooth or ribbed - you can see this clearly in the photos of boxed outfits.

Accessories: white bead necklace

Shoes: plain white high heels (pumps)

1282 White Blue Suite

Fleur outfit 1282 is called 'White Blue Suit' in the 1986 big booklet, but 'White Blue Suite' in the 1986 small booklet - a funny misspelling. This is a beautiful set of white top with blue stripes on the front, blue pants with real pockets, and a cool blue head scarf (looks very 1960s). The white visor is made out of fabric. It seems a bit unnecessary, but it's a nice extra. My two Fleurs are posing with and without the visor.

Accessories: white visor, blue sunglasses

Shoes: plain blue high heels (pumps)

1283 Floral Top

Who says you can't mix patterns - Fleur is doing it very successfully with outfit 1283. It's a white flower-print shirt  with a dark pink tie permanently attached, combined with a knee-length rainbow-striped straight skirt. The tie is made of cotton, or of thick suede-like material. Two variations of shirt and skirt were found so far (shown below). This outfit is called 'Floral Top' in the 1986 booklet.

Fun fact: in the 1986 booklet, outfit 1286 (below) was mistakenly numbered as 1283.

Accessories: pink purse, pink sunglasses, pink socks

Shoes: pink running shoes

1284 Black Evening Dress

If Fleur outfit 1284 reminds you of Fleur outfit 1249, you are not wrong - they are very similar. Outfit 1284 is a slim black satin gown with a lovely halter-neck top, decorated with a silver flower on the front, and silver fringe alongside the entire left seam. The fringe feels a little bit like Christmas tinsel. In the 1986 booklet, this outfit is called 'Black Evening Dress'.

Accessories: silver handbag with one pearl button, silver mesh shoulder wrap, short white pearl necklace

Shoes: plain black high heels (pumps)

1285 Sleveless Overall

Fleur takes a walk on the beach in outfit 1285 - light and bright. It's a sleeveless pink pantsuit with three tiny buttons on the front, real big pockets, and a wide white belt. This is worn over a cute white blouse covered with colourful polka dots. This outfit is called 'Sleeveless Overall' in the 1986 big booklet.

Accessories: pink sunglasses, white belt, red bead necklace

Shoes: white sandals (the promo photo shows white running shoes)

1286 Flower Design

This is one of Fleur's most recognisable outfits - fashion number 1286. The pants and left side of the collar are a beautiful shade of royal blue. The top-layer blouse is made of a flower-print fabric (in several variations, as shown below), and worn over a simple white long-sleeve top. The bag fabric always matches the blouse.

This outfit comes with a great shoe confusion - in the box, it's plain white pumps, and sometimes white running shoes. The doll in the promo photo is wearing blue kitten heels with small flower.

Accessories: triangular bag with plastic ring handles

Shoes: plain white high heels (pumps), or blue kitten heels with small flower, or white running shoes

1287 Tennis Outfit

Fleur liked tennis as much as horse riding - this is her fourth tennis look (after outfit 1228, Tennisstar doll, and Tennis doll). Fleur outfit 1287 is most fun of them all. It's a sleeveless white cotton dress with blue, yellow and pink inserts. The striped belt is made of the same fabric and is removable. The pink headband can be a plain fabric circle (as shown on the doll), or a wider band with a tie at the back (as shown in the box). Note the 'Tennis Outfit' label on the front of the box.

Accessories: Dunlop tennis racket, pink socks, pink headband, white terrycloth towel, pink sunglasses

Shoes: yellow running shoes (in the promo photo, they are pink)
