Aerobic Fleur Doll

catalogue # 385 - 1010, year 1983

body: ballerina (bending elbows and ankles)

hair: blonde, pink, red, brunette, center part, two braids

shoes: white ballet (pointe) shoes, extra pair of white sandals

This Fleur is easy to identify - she is the only one with this hairstyle.

This is a beautiful set with a pink hula hoop, an extra jogging outfit made of white and pink terrycloth, and an extra pair of shoes (white sandals). Fleur doll wears a red skirt leotard with black stripes, white tights, white pointe (ballet) shoes, red legwarmers and a pink headband.

Aerobic Fleur doll's box is unusual, because on the back it shows pictures of all the things this Fleur can do (aerobic, dancing, jogging and hula-hoop). Most other Fleur doll boxes show other Fleur dolls and accessories.

Alpine Fleur Doll

white outfit, blue skis - catalogue # 1016, year 1986

pink outfit, pink skis - catalogue # 1048, year 1987

body: non-ballerina (no bending elbows or ankles), legs move to front, back and side

hair: blonde, brown, brunette, bangs (fringe), ponytail, Fleur logo on back of head

shoes: orange ski boots

Alpine Fleur's white outfit is still easy to buy today, the pink one is rarer.  This Fleur was featured in both booklets from 1986 in her white outfit. The photo at bottom right is a booklet photo.

Both Alpine Fleurs wore the same orange boots, but their skis were different - Alpine Fleur in white had blue skis, and Alpine Fleur in pink had pink ones.

Amazone Fleur Doll

catalogue # 1002, year 1982 (debut)

body: non-ballerina (no bending elbows or ankles), legs move to front and back (not side)

hair: blonde, red, brunette, centre part

shoes: black knee-high boots

Amazone Fleur doll was - as far as we know - the most reissued Fleur doll of all. She was sold in four different boxes, starting in year 1982 with the slimmest box (see middle row). Around 1984-1985, she was sold again in a bigger box (two editions) with accessories (see top row). The accessories were: a silver trophy, riding crop, and blue button (gift to the buyer). And finally, she was sold again around 1987 in the new light-green box without a catalogue # printed on it.

It's still very easy to find Amazone Fleur's complete outfit today - that's no surprise, considering her four editions.

Fun fact 1: under her red jacket, Fleur wears no top - only the white scarf tied at her neck (naughty).

Fun fact 2: Amazone Fleur's legs only move to front and back (not side), it is impossible for her to sit on her horse.

For photos of all four editions of this doll, please read this excellent Amazone Fleur topic on Lulemee's blog.

Animal Doctor Fleur Doll

catalogue # 1019, year 1986

body: non-ballerina (no bending elbows or ankles), legs move to front, back and side

hair: blonde, red, brunette, centre part

shoes: white kitten heels with small flower

See the differences between the boxed dolls below. They have different animals (both are dogs), different carriers (brown and white), and different front of box. Both boxes have the same photo on the back.

Fleur is wearing a one-piece straight shift dress printed with a pink flower bud pattern. The dress in the promo photo has a pink feather pattern. Over the dress, Fleur wears a white apron with two front pockets.

So far, I have seen this Fleur with 4 different animals. I will write more about them on the future 'animals' page.
