Who knew navy blue and hot pink go together so well? Fleur looks great in her outfit 1230 - a navy blue cotton jacket with white lapels, worn over a hot pink turtleneck shirt and white pants. In the 1980 trade catalogue, this outfit is simply called 'Blazer'.
Accessories: white hat with pink ribbon, long white bead necklace
Shoes: white sandals
Two shades of brown plus white and gold make 1231 a perfect Fleur autumn outfit - actually called 'Brown White'. It's s a brown long-sleeve shirt (note the big collar - very 70s), worn over a darker brown A-line skirt with a front seam. On top - white terrycloth shirt, with a tiny metal gold heart on the left side. This heart is only attached by a few stitches, so unfortunately it's easy to lose.
Accessories: gold chain necklace with pearl pendant, gold belt, white terrycloth hat
Shoes: brown knee-high boots
Fleur looks great in her lovely bright outfit # 1232. It's a red corduroy vest and A-line skirt - hence the outfit name 'Red Rib' - worn over a classic white shirt. There is a Fleur sticker on the left side of the vest - it is paper so will not survive any laundry.
Accessories: red corduroy shoulder bag
Shoes: black knee-high boots
Fleur outfit 1233 'Rainy Weather' is often confused with Travel Fleur doll's outfit - that's no surprise, because the coats are exactly the same design, and the plaid fabrics are very similar too. So here's how to tell them apart: the coat of this outfit is made of cotton, and worn with a two-piece set of check shirt and skirt. The coat worn by Travel Fleur is made of nylon (it's thin and shiny), and underneath she wears a dress. See? That was easy.
Accessories: shoulder bag made of the same check fabric as the top and skirt
Shoes: red knee-high boots
The box of Fleur outfit 1234 is labelled De Luxe - and it sure is luxurious. A gorgeous floor-length red gown with a high neck and long sleeves, accented with silver trim on the neck and chest. The dress fabric sparkles with silver glitter for a high-glamour look. On the shoulders - a white fake fur cape trimmed with silver and accented with a red flower (glued on - laundry alert!).
Accessories: white pearl necklace, silver bag
Shoes: white sandals
The promo photo for outfit 1235 shows Fleur in her Dutch kitchen, probably making coffee - in the perfect outfit called 'In The Morning'. This bright fashion set is a soft combo of long coral sleeveless nightgown trimmed with lace, and a red long-sleeve bathrobe edged with yellow braid. In the bottom right photo, Fleur is wearing this outfit to advertise her dining room furniture (so cute).
Accessories: red bathrobe belt, white comb and brush
Shoes: white flip flops
This is one of Fleur's most popular fashions - # 1236 lingerie. It is still easy to find today, because it was released twice - first in dark green, then in light green box, as shown below (the only other outfit sold in two boxes is wedding outfit 1220).
In the box are two sets of bras, panties and slips, in two colours - pale pink and light blue. All items are trimmed with lace. There are many variations of this outfit, in colour, lace and design. Scroll below for beautiful promo photos of this outfit.
Accessories: white hair comb and brush
Shoes: white flip flops
Here are the lovely promo photos featuring Fleur lingerie 1236. This outfit has three promo photos (more than any other Fleur fashion). Fleur also wore it while promoting her furniture, and while eating cake (bottom left photo).
Fleur definitely liked stripes - like in this outfit # 1237 called 'Red-White' in the 1981 catalogue. It's a knee-length long-sleeve dress with diagonal red-white stripes, and white-edged V neckline and sleeve cuffs.
Accessories: white hat, white belt, white bag with a red trim, red ribbon (for her hair?)
Shoes: red knee-high boots
Fleur's outfit # 1238 looks modern yet a bit 'medieval queen'. It's a long sweater-dress in a gorgeous deep shade of burgundy, with a dramatic hood and bell sleeves. This is paired with white satin pants and a blue-white rope belt for a touch of colour. In the 1981 trade catalogue, this outfit is called 'Capuchon'.
Fun fact: there are two pendants for this outfit - one with the word 'LOVE', and the other with 'Cariño' which means 'darling' in Spanish :) see bottom two photos.
Accessories: blue-white rope belt, long gold chain necklace with heart pendant
Shoes: white sandals
You can already guess which part of Fleur's 1239 outfit is hardest to find... yes, the gloves! Those little gloves are the first to get lost - so if you have a pair, keep them safe. The gloves match the pockets on the plaid blue-gray coat, named simply 'Raincoat' in the 1981 catalogue (but Snowcoat might have been better).
Accessories: blue scarf with fringed ends, hat, gloves
Shoes: white knee-high boots
