catalogue # 385 - 1040, year 1983 (1984?)
Speelboom exclusive
body: ballerina (bending elbows and ankles)
hair: blonde, red, brunette, centre part
shoes: white kitten heels with small flower
Miss World Fleur seems to be the rares Fleur of all. The photo in the bottom left is from a Speelboom toy catalogue, and the text says 'exclusief bij de Speelboom' - exclusive to the Speelboom. If that's true, then this was the only place to buy her. Is it any wonder she's the most spectacular Fleur of all? That dress, that crown! She's also the only Fleur with earrings - so if you have a mystery doll with pierced ears, it might be her. Another tip: her head is slightly smaller than Fleur heads from the mid-late 1980s.

catalogue # 385 - 1020, year 1986
body: non-ballerina (no bending elbows or ankles), legs move to front and back (not side)
hair: blonde, red, brunette, centre part
shoes: white running shoes
Mount Everest is one of the best accesorised Fleur dolls - compass, backpack, binoculars, long rope, hat, many pockets. Her only problem - her clothes aren't warm enough for climbing Mount Everest! But, at least they look great. She wears a kind of army-green combo of vest and knee-length pants. Under her green vest, Fleur wears a red t-shirt with elbow-length sleeves.
catalogue # 385 - 1096, year 1982
body: ballerina (bending elbows and ankles)
hair: blonde, red, brunette, centre part
shoes: white kitten heels with small flower
My Fair Lady Fleur is an early 1980s beauty wearing a dress in the style of 'Southern belle'. She is from the same period as Miss World Fleur, which is easy to tell by their matching boxes. My Fair Lady Fleur and Miss World both have the smaller heads - typical with Fleur dolls of the early 1980s.
Her dress is simply sensational - made with a lot of details (pleated shoulders!), layered hat and beautiful accessories (necklace, bag and umbrella). The dress is made of blue satin, with a sumptuous embroidered tulle overskirt. It is quite fragile, but it can still be found today in surprisingly good condition.
Worth to note: the doll's body in the promo photo (top left) is different than the doll body in the box. The other Fleur with same issue is
In Concert
(might be because they are from the same production period).
catalogue # 385 - 1000, year 1987
body: non-ballerina (no bending elbows or ankles), legs move to front, back and side
hair: only seen brunette, centre part
shoes: black high heels with a flower
My First Fleur looks a little different in her box than in her promo photo (at top left). The differences are: hair, blouse and shoes - but I'm pretty sure it's the same doll.
The box looks like it's different colours in front and back - it isn't, it's just very faded in the front. It should be the usual light green all the way around. However, the unusual thing about the box is the blue background - usually, it's yellow.
